IVECCS 2019 Call for Presenters
The Mission of VECCS is to provide a forum for collaboration of all individuals interested and involved with veterinary emergency and critical care. We promote the advancement of knowledge and high standards of practice in veterinary emergency medicine and critical patient care. IVECCS is the place where this Mission is exemplified.
The IVECCS Program Committee is seeking proposals for presentation topics and ideas for IVECCS September 6-10, 2019 in Washington, D.C. Veterinary and Technician Experts in Emergency and Critical Care, Small and Large Animal Surgery, Medicine and Anesthesia/Analgesia, Practice Management, and Exotic Medicine and Surgery are invited to submit their proposed topics and course descriptions for lecture, workshop and lab sessions. The focus of the 2019 IVECCS will be The Critical Kidney, however, the program will cover a wide variety of topics with a wide variety of levels to satisfy the needs of veterinary and technician specialists, advanced clinicians and technicians, general practitioners, and support staff dedicated to or having a special interest in Emergency and Critical Care. VECCS is updating its speaker portal. This requires that speakers update and resubmit their topic submissions from previous year’s submissions.

Invitations to present at IVECCS 2019 sent to speakers: December 15, 2018
If your topics are not selected for IVECCS 2019, you will not receive an IVECCS Speaker Invitation by December 15, 2018. However, your topics will remain in the speaker database, and the information can be updated at any time for consideration for future meetings, including VECCS sponsored sessions at other national and international venues. By entering, updating and maintaining your speaker/topic information on the database, the VECCS educational program coordinators can easily access the information when recommending and coordinating VECCS sponsored programs at other venues, such as VMX, ACVIM, WVC, etc. Selection preference will be given to active VECCS members, and all ACVECC, ECVECC and AVECCT speakers must be VECCS members to be considered.
