Registration is now full!

The wait list is now full. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We have maxed our lecture room space however we are working with the hotel to see what can be done to squeeze in additional seats. We are pleased with the response to the symposium but also very disappointed that we cannot accommodate everyone who wants to attend.

We will update right away on any changes in registration status. Please note if you are on the wait list but already have confirmed hotel reservations, please notify us (sarah@veccs.org) immediately.

VECCS is committed to offering members the highest quality CE at both IVECCS in September and our Spring Recreational CE event which will again be conducted in a spectacular local on outside the continental United States. The Executive Board has negotiated these terrific arrangements for our members to enjoy the 2019 VECCS Spring Symposium at one of the most popular and highly acclaimed resorts in this hemisphere!

This year’s symposia will be held at the Marriott Los Suenos Ocean and Golf Resort, a breathtaking and luxurious destination resort property. The resort is located on the Western side of Costa Rica, nestled between tropical rain forest and warm waters of Pacific Ocean. It is the ultimate venue for eco-tourism, with unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities. If you have never joined us at a Spring CE meeting, you don’t know what you are missing! There will be plenty of time between lecture sessions to enjoy local attractions, network with colleagues or just “hang out.”

You’ll fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela Province, Alajuela, Costa Rica. A shuttle from the airport to the resort should be scheduled in advance as it is an hour and a half from the Marriott.

Two highly acclaimed speakers will be presenting a variety of topics of high interest to our EM/CC clinicians. The lecture theme will be Emergency and Critical Care Neurology. You will find the open discussions and attendee interactions are invaluable as well.

  • Heidi Barnes Heller, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)
