Description: This round table discussion will offer guidance around what shared governance is, what it’s intended to accomplish, and how to participate in it effectively. The overarching purpose is to engage staff members in collaborative decision-making, increasing job satisfaction and help them see their value in the organization.

Shared governance and participative decision making are vital aspects of organizational culture and leadership in healthcare. With proven success in human healthcare, the question arises – can this concept be applied and successful in veterinary medicine?
